There are a few different approaches to portrait photography. The most common is a headshot, taken for promotional purposes to convey an individual or a team’s credibility, appearance, and professionalism. This can be done against a plain, studio backdrop for a simple, well-lit, professional image.
Often in business, environmental portraiture photography is used, where a staff member is photographed carrying out an activity, or seated or standing in an area within the company office to convey more about the organisation and its work.
David also uses his photojournalism skills to offer candid portrait photography, offering a very natural and honest feel, without any ‘posed’ feeling. Whichever method is employed, his high quality, consistent corporate head shots can be used for marketing collateral, PR, and on LinkedIn and company website profiles.
As key people often have little time to spend on a portrait shoot, David can set up a couple of different shooting areas at the location in advance so that the amount of down-time is kept to a minimum.
Once a brief has been agreed, David Burrows Photography charges a flat rate pre-negotiated fee with no hidden extras which includes travel expenses, (if applicable), time spent on the shoot, post production, editing, and DVD burning.
