Creating stylish images of people can be one of the most challenging photographic assignments there is. The brief may call for a person to be portrayed as powerful, dynamic, approachable, professional, friendly etc. As a portrait photographer, my informal manner and professional creative approach ensures that people from all walks of life, from managing directors to shop floor workers, are put at ease in front of the camera and portrayed to their best advantage.
The corporate portrait images I create are usually done in two main styles, the first being a photograph using a plain white back ground, either head and shoulders or full length. This creates a simple well lit studio style portrait.
The second style uses the available environment at the location to create a natural looking but polished creative portrait of the subject.
Environmental style portraits can be shot in a wide variety of settings which include:
As key people often have little time to spend on a portrait shoot, I can set up a couple of different shooting areas at the location in advance so that the amount of down-time is kept to a minimum.
Both styles can be viewed in the People gallery above.
I charge a flat rate pre-negotiated fee with no hidden extras which includes travel expenses, if applicable, time spent on the shoot, post production, editing, and DVD burning.
